Ieda Laurindo is a professor of rheumatology at Nove de Julho University, SãoPaulo. She was an assistant physician at the Clinical Hospital at the Faculty of Medicine, University of SãoPaulo. She is a member and former president of the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology and a member of the Sociedade Paulista de Reumatologia and the Academia Brasileira de Reumatologia. Dr Laurindo is also a member of the imaging and rheumatoid arthritis committees at the Brazilian Society of Rheumatology and coordinator of the BiobadaBrasil – Brazilian register of adverse events of biological, biosimilar and targeted DMARDs in rheumatic diseases . Her clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, image (ultrasound) and medical education.
