MALIGNANT SYPHILIS IN A PATIENT USING RITUXIMAB

Descrição

A 28 years old female with lupus presented erythematous lesions with arthritis on right wrist and knee. Evolving with fever, purulent rhinorrhea, odynophagia, redness on right eye, new scaly and exudative lesions, with secondary infection signs. Fundoscopy showed retinal vasculitis and VDRL was positive (1:16). She received 14 days of ceftriaxone and 7 days of oxacillin with clinical resolution, confirming malignant syphilis.
